Quick Get The Camera!

I'm not the start of this problem but, I was there as it was happening. The problem?
It's the ME GENERATIONS. Speaking in general.

I am a "BabyBoomer" and the BabyBoomers started The me Generation, I'm sad to say.

It wasn't so pronounced then as it is today because we still cared about People. Helped
People. Aided People.

In the late 50's and early 60's, on Halloween we NEVER worried about our candy
being poison, our apples didn't have pins and razor blades in them. We wouldn't
hesitate to ask a stranger for water and we weren't afraid to go into their house to
get it. We weren't afraid to WALK home from the movies.

But, after WWII, the times were good. Much better than today. And people were
still pretty close knit.

I watched the BabyBoomer/Me Generation have kids and were permissive parents.
This spoil the kids a little. Then they grew up and had kids and were more permissive
than their parents Etc. This continued to today.

As we went from good to bad we had the YUPPIE, Cluppy,Clappy ,Crappie or
what ever they called them selves. It just went, me, mE, Me, ME.

The ME's, today, show their ME mentality the world over.

The ME's have no conscious, no  Empathy,  they try to get your money anyway
possible, they lie, cheat and steal. And have ABSOLUTELY no remorse. As long
as they get what the WANT.

Now we have children killing children in Schools. In my day if we took a Squirt
Gun to School we could have been suspended for atleast a day. Back then Scool
was for Learning not Playing. Today I guess it's just for Killing.

What the HELL is going on.

For years I have said that when Children get into trouble,crime their punishment should
be more sever than just slapping them on the wrist and sending them home.

Children, from birth to 18yrs old are in their formative years. This is the time that children
learn how to live in society. But, what are they learning? This is what they are learning;
"If I do I might get caught but I'm a Minor Ha Ha what can they do to me" Ask any
kid under 18. They are NOT being taught to be a decent member of society.

Now when there is a shooting, someone hit by a car or have a car accident the yougsters
,of today, grab their CAMERA instead of things to help the situation.

Let me give you an example of how I was raised.

In Dec. 1968, I was 2 weeks from getting an honorable discharge.
Some people had a  party to celebrate everything. I have to admit that in my younger days
I got drunk 1 a week. But a fairly responsible drunk. So....we are having this party and
I think we needed more beer. Everyone was drunk but I seemed to be the Soberest one
so I drove the car. Eventhough, on a 4 lane street I saw 8 lanes. Yea pretty drunk.

I drove as carefully as I could ( No Accident ).

Now here is the seperation of me and the kids today.

While getting beer we came upon a 2 car accident just seconds after it happened.
I stopped and found 4 injured people. 2 from each car. 2 young girls and an elderly
couple. I assesed this situation, calmed the injured people and applied what First Aid
I could. Then kept an eye on all of them till medical help arrived. AND I'M DRUNK
but sobering up FAST.

When I first saw the accident my first thought was.....I GOT TO SEE IF I CAN HELP
not QUICK GET THE CAMERA.

What Is The Matter With People, In General, today?

The 2010 USA census was 308,745,538 people.
The Federal Government Debt IS $14,700,000,000,000.00 ( $14.7 Trillion)

The People are the only ones that can pull the Federal Government out of Debt.

Now, to pull the Federal Government out of Debt in 1 year, every Man,Woman and
child would have to pay ( $14,700,000,000,000.00 divided by 308,745,538 =)
 $47,612.02.The Poor and Destitute would also have to pay.

A family of 4 would have to to pay $190,448.08 EXTRA on their Income Tax

Now thats a Big LOL.

If the Federal Government decided to eradicate the Debt in 10 years.
A family of 4 would have to to pay $19,044.00 EXTRA on their Income Tax

Even Bigger LOL.

But, we have a way out. obama's Jobs Plan. Which will cost $440,000,000,000.00
( $440 Billion ).

Where's this money coming from? Whose is going to get the money?

Big Companies who would squander the money? Then Cry to the Federal Government
that they are going broke. ( Big severance packages, poor money spending, errors, Etc.)
I call this Federal Government Welfare for Big Companies. Which they have been on for
Many years.

The Federal Government should make more money available to Companies whose
annual income is 10 - 20  million dollars or less. Small Companies don't have the
Begging power that a Big Company has.

Think of Companies as fish. You can have 1 Big Fish or many Little Fish.

The Big Fish has 25,000 baby fish depending on it. The sharks swim in and eats the Big
Fish. Now the babies have no protection or support ( layed off )

The Little Fish are in a school of 1,000 Fish and each Little Fish has 25 baby fish. The
sharks swim in and eat 250 Little Fish.  At this point we have lost 250 Little Fish and
6,250 baby fish. BUT, we still have 750 Little Fish and 18,750 baby fish surviving.

There Is Safety In Numbers..........

Yellowstone Super Volcano, CME, Nibiru

In the Title I have listed catastrophies in  the order of possibility, by the way I see it.
Just in case you don't know what CME is, It means Coronal Mass Ejection.

Yellowstone Super Volcano;
This is a good possibility because, Yellowstone has already shown movement in its
Caldara. Plus some of the tourist attractions have changed. Also, knowing the time
of its last eruption, Yellowstone could erupt today or 100,000 years from now or
any time in between...........Greatest Chance of Happening.

CME;
Lets take the Sun and cover it with cannons that stand vertical from the Suns surface.
Each of these cannons can fire a CME, at any time and in any direction. The possibility
of a CME hitting the Earth is pretty slim............Likely Chance of Happening.

Note: after reading about CME's and there effects on Earth, I'm pretty sure I and others
have been through atleast, 1 CME.

Back when I was 8 to 11 years old, I was outdoors looking at the sky. It was winter
and at night. The sky was crystal clear. I Saw the Arora Borealus. You say "So What".
Well, at the time, I was living in Findlay ,Ohio   USA. Way past the point of seeing a
normal Arora Borealus. I feel that, for the Arora Borealus to dip that low, it could have
been due to a CME......And there was no catastrophy. I remember this because it
amazed me that I could see it.

Nibiru;
Oh Boy! here we go. I've searched and searched for info on Nibiru but, all I've found
were weird and conflicting reports. One thing I saw on LiveLeak was a video of Nibiru
beside our sun. Sorry, that appeared to be Just a Sun Dog.

So....without reliable info I have to speculate. Since no one seems to know where its at, I'll
say that it is just crossing Pluto's obit 9/28/11. Now, for Nibiru to reach us by 12/21/12, it
has to travel for 15 more months. 15 months equals approx 455 days. There are 10,920
hours in 455 days. The distance to Pluto is approx. 2.25 BILLION miles from earth

Now the fun part......................
With 10,920 hours in 15 months and Nibiru is 2.25 Billion miles from us we can approx.
calculate the speed of Nibiru

2,250,000,000miles divided by 10,920hours equals 206,044 Mph. Lets see what it is
in Mps. 206,044 divided by 3600 (60 sec * 60 min.) equals 57 Mps. As far as I can
find on the InterNet the fastest object recorded was a comet at 29 Mps.

Very Unlikely To Happen

So people....I'd worry more about Yellowstone or an asteroid  then a CME or Nibiru.

A Funny Thing Happened To Me On My Way Through The Park

I have to share this with you because it happened to me. I have no proof to show
because I didn't have my camera with me and I hope you take my word for it.

The other day, I was walking through a local Park relishing the warm sunlight,
the gentle wind and I guess everything in general. It was a very nice day.

I wasn't really paying attention to any 1 thing, just strolling along. Then I realized
that there didn't seem to be any pressure on the bottoms of my feet. I looked
down and saw that I was about 6 feet off the ground and still rising. Floating
in the air with no form of support. Needless to say, I was scared shitless and
started to thrash around. I found that, during my thrashing, if I start with
my arms extended over my head and move my arms down that I would rise
higher in the air or starting with my arms down and moving them up over my head
that I would go down.

So.....this is what I did ALL day. It was the best experience of my life. Also
this ability seems permanent because I can still do it. Ha Ha fooey on you
Earth bound rats.

I've been trying to get it so that instead of standing vertical and floating through the
air, I can be similar to the fictional character Superman and float horizontal. This
is very hard to do because when I start to go horizontal I seem to start to slip out
of the air. Hard to explain, I'll just have to continue to practice till I can figure it out.

The 1 important thing I did find was that, while floating from the ground upward
and not making any movement, my movement upward would stop at about
100 feet. Coooooool.

I don't really feel anything when I float except that there is no pressure on the
bottoms of my feet. Even with me being an Atheist, this floating stuff is truly
STRANGE. I have no idea why I can FLOAT, I just do.

As yet, I haven't tried to hold an object and float. That will come later when
I'm more experienced at floating.

There it is, I hope you believe me because I'd really feel bad if you didn't.

Even worse, I'd feel terrible if you thought I was any 1 or all of the below;

1....Someone with a brain tumor.
2....Someone that's crazier than a Shit House Rat.
3....Someone that's done WAY to many drugs.
or
4....Someone so stupid that he doesn't know walking from jumping.

 Well sorry........none of those thoughts are correct. The real thought is that
" This fothermucker is Lying ".

AND

That would be CORRECT. Everything, about my floating, is a LIE.

Now to the point of this post.

I gave you readers firsthand information on my ability to float.
I gave you readers firsthand details on my ability to float.

The only problem is that YOU didn't see me float.

Now lets turn to the 2000 year old biblE.

It says that " jesuS Walked Upon The Waters " or something to that effect.

The theists READ this and say "Yessiree lordY, Thats exactly what hE done. "
The theist will believe something that comes out of a 2000 year old book with
no proof or evidence to back it up.

Hmmmm,  maybe hE just knew where the rocks were at.

Yet, when I give theists firsthand information and details, they still require proof.

It's a Sad Sad World we live in.

Here's a little Atheist humor I made up while typing this post.  I don't know if
I'm plagiarising anybody but, here goes;

A man walks into a catholic church and asks the priest if he could address the
congregation. The priest asks, " does it concern religion? " . The man answered
" yes it does " and the priest nodded his consent.

The man enters the pulpit, pauses a few moments, Then says " you all know me,
though not by face, I am you lorD jesuS chrisT ". The whole congregation erupted
into laughter. After a few monents and a very stern look from the man, the congregation
settles down. The man then says " I am here because the day of reckoning has come ".
Again the congregation erupts into laughter. This time the priest is laughing also.

The man asks " why do you laugh at me " and, almost in unison, the congregation
yells " We Don't Believe You ". The man hangs his head for a moment, then looks
up and says " must I give you proof of who I am ? " and again the congregation
yells in unison " YES ". Now the man hangs his head, all the while, shaking it from
side to side. After many long moments, the man looks at the congregation and says
" YOU KNOW I DON"T WORK LIKE THAT "

See Evolution Today

One of the most respected evolutionary biologists has defined biological evolution as

If you have the ability to understand the above, then you will be able to understand what
I'm about to say.

My ear lobe dangles from my ear similar to the Uvula that dangles at the back of your
mouth. Yet, I've seen people with the ear lobe attached to the side of their head and
others that seem to have no ear lobe at all.

Is this small change beneficial, harmful or indifferent?

When I stiffen my thumb up, it looks similar to this....." l ". But when other people do
the same thing, their thumb looks similar to an upside down letter " J ".

This is how Evolution works. Also these are called Genetic Traits ( I'm pretty sure ).
But to me, it's signs of Evolution. There are other things that show me signs of Evolution,
like the tonsils, adnoids and appendix, plus maybe a couple others, that don't appear to
have any use any more. Though I disagree about the tonsils an adnoids. But thats another
story.

Hypothetical Example.......A race of beings that are similar to us and having the same
                                        differences we do. ( Curved thumb vs Straight thumb - Attached
                                        ear lobe vs Detached ear lobe ). I have to say here that there can
                                        be different combinations of thumb and ear lobe but including
                                        that into this example would make it VERY long and
                                        complicated.

                                        So to keep it simple and basically have a similar outcome, I will
                                        say that there are only 2 types of beings. Ones with curved
                                        thumbs and attached ear lobes and the ones with straight
                                        thumbs and detached ear lobes.

                                        The way this race of beings get their food is to slide down,
                                         through, an elastic tube of vines 100 feet tall.

                                        The desent rate is controlled by the hands.

                                         The ones with the curved thumb and attached ear lobe
                                         have very little problem sliding through the tube and controlling
                                         their desent rate because the vines just slide by. Nothing
                                         for the vines to get caught on. Whereas, the ones with the
                                         straight thumb and detached ear lobe have the problems
                                         of getting a thumb caught in the vines and broken and/or
                                         getting an ear lobe caught and tearing the ear off. So...The
                                         desent rate would have to be more controlled thus making
                                         it slower. And as everyone knows..................................
                                         THE EARLY BIRD GETS THE WORM.

You may say that these are just mutations and you would be wrong yet in a way right.
Very basically speaking, evolution is mutation except the mutation is passed on to the
offspring. This is Genetic Mutation.

A mutation, that is not Genetic, will not be passed on to the offspring and I can give an
example.

Years ago, I met a man with 2 thumbs on his right hand. Not 2 whole individual thumbs.
What he had was 2 thumbs, from the tip of the nail back to the first joint, attached side
by side.

None of his family had this condition and it wasn't passed on to his offspring.

A Small Note.....I may have to disagree with Mr. Futuyma when he said that an indvidual
                          organisms can't Evolve. If he means an individual organism can't Evolve
                          a third arm during its liftime, then, Yes I agree.
                         The way I see it, though, is that Evolution depends on the individual
                         organism. Look at it like this; 1 individual organism is born with
                         slightly mutated Genes. It passes those Genes to 2 offspring. Those 2
                         pass those Genes to 4 offspring. Those 4 to 8 and so on. After a time
                         you will have a population with slightly different Genes than the rest of the
                         population. Ta - Da..............................Evolution

Whoa....wait a minute, I just had a thought of some fun, if you like this kind of fun.
You can check this on the InterNet. There are quite a few babies born with TAILS.
Now take this little known fact to a theist or, if you really like to argue, to a Baptist.
I made the mistake of telling an exfriend of mine, who is a Baptist, about babies
born with tails. Holy Shit......He came unglued. I came to a quick understanding.
Watch what you say around a Baptist. Also this arguement is not the reason he's an
exfriend.

In closing, A theist says "Open Your Heart To goD and hE Will Reveal himselF.". An
Atheist says "Go Into The World, Open Your Eyes, Read, Observe and Experiment and
Evolution will come up and smack you right in the face".

Chicken or the Egg

In my life I've heard and been asked the question "What Came First, The Chicken Or
The Egg?". Now, with a question like this, you have only 2 answers and 1 MUST be
wrong.

Definition of  "Faith"....strong or unshakeable belief in something, especially
                                        without proof or evidence.

To answer this question a theist must rely on their Faith and a book written 2000 years
ago and by people that thought the light from the Moon was its own light. Meaning that
It Is Not Reflected Sun Light.

Anyway, the theist answer should be "The Chicken". Because goD created the chicken
then it layed an egg. So did goD, many times. Just alittle Atheist humor.

Continuing on, an Atheists answer would be "The Egg". Because, by being able to think
freely, we can use tangible evidence to draw our conclusion. We have good evidence
that birds evolved from Dinosaurs and the Dinosaurs layed eggs. So.......Egg Before
Chicken. If you doubt this, check out "archeopteryx" on the internet.

Believers and NonBelievers

I know I'm behind the times but, I just saw the Debate(?) between Matt Slick and
Matt Dillahunty. I have to admit that Matt is Slick. I don't know about other people but,
their debate, to me, was weird. Slick appeared to try, exceptionally hard, to win the
debate through confusion and get Dillahunty to admit something. See I'm confused.
But, true to form, Dillahunty slammed Slick at every point.  But Slick seemed unable
to absorb the Logical, Rational and Common Sense questions and answers that
Dillahunty was giving him. I got the impression that Slick only wanted to win the debate,
no matter if he was right or wrong.

Well, to move on. I heard, on The Atheist Experience, that some theist wants all,
proclaimed, Atheists to be registered. Even though it wasn't meant to be, there's some
good in that. The only bad in it is if Reverend Hitler used that list to kill 6,000,000 of us.
Check out German history, about 1939 - end of WWII and don't just read the headlines.

I guess we could use that list also. Anyone not on the list would be our............Hmmmm.
Not a good thing for Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.

I, as an Atheist, would never kill someone just because that person believed in a goD.
But, on the same note, if that persons belief motivated actions threatens me with bodily
harm and/or death, you better believe I'll pop a cap in his ass so fast you won't even
hear the shot.

Anyway back to registering Atheists. If we have to register so do the theists. Only fair.
But, I want to go 1 better. Atheists and theists must carry a coin. The Atheist coin has
a heads on 1 side and tails on the other. We would use this coin to help us with life.
HEADS=YUP - TAILS=NOPE. We call this the Logic coin. The theists will have a
coin they call the Bible coin. It's very simular to the Atheist coin except it has a head
on both sides.

Now here's something that, in a way, makes me sad. I've had conversations with your
common everyday believer and when asked a question like "Do you know what goDs plan
is?". They will invariably say "ONLY goD KNOWS THAT. Welllll DUH! I wasn't asking
them what goD knows I was asking what they know. Are they so insecure in their faith
that they can't say those 3 little words.......I..........DON'T..........KNOW?

An Atheist says those 3 little words quite a bit. Because we don't know everything,
but we are learning something new every day.

Well I've been reading and rereading what I've typed and I think I might have figured
out why theists seem afraid of those 3 little words. If people asked me questions about
Astronomy, Evolution and all the other sciences and ALL I could say was
I..........DON'T...........KNOW, I wouldn't like it either.

Noah's Ark or Noah's Farce

First let me say that, when I refer to fossils I mean all species of animal, reptile, bird,
insect and arachnid fossilized remains found.

I have read that, as of 2010, the number of species living today are;

Mammals ..... = 5,490 .......X 2......... = 10,980
Birds............. = 9,998 .......X 2......... = 19,996
Reptiles........ = 9,084 ........X 2......... = 18,168
Insects... = 1,000,000 ........X 2.... = 2,000,000
Arachnids.. = 102,248 .......X 2........= 204,496
                  1,126,820 species           2,253,640 individual creatures on board the ark.

Okay....we have a fair idea of the number of species living today. Now, to save
tons of calculations, lets say that no matter the species size it can survive in 1/6 cubic
foot living space.As you can see I'm giving noah's ark a large benefit of the doubt. Because
an Elephant, even a baby elephant, is bigger than 1/6 cubic foot. Many times bigger.
A 1/6 cubic foot living space is about the size of a large grapefruit

Once again I'll give noah's ark a large benefit of the doubt and say the ark was shaped
like a rectangular box which gives the ark more volume than being boat shaped.

It's said the ark was 450 ft long, 75 ft wide and 45 ft tall. This equals 1,518,750 cubic ft.
So......

6 X 1,518,750 = 9,112,500 1/6 cubic foot living spaces. This should sound kinda
good to a theist because 9,112,500 1/6 cubic foot living spaces  and only 2,253,640
individual creatures gives you a lot of room left.

Sorry, but we now get into the extinct creatures. It is said, in many places, that 99.9%
of all species, that ever existed, are now extinct (these were on the ark too).

Disregard \/
Once again we have to do some juggling because of the fossils found. There were
many more large creatures, that are extinct, than we have today.

With the larger creatures we must increase the size of the creatures living space by 3.
I will increase the size to 1/2 cubic foot (about the size of a shoe box). Just as an
example, a dragonfly that lived long ago had a 2 foot wing span. You'd be hard
pressed to put him in a shoe box.

With this we need to multiply 1,518,750 cubic feet by 2 which equals  3,037,500  1/2
cubic foot living spaces. Hmmmmm.... getting close to the spaces needed for our
present day creatures and I haven't figured in the extinct creatures yet.

Disregard /\

UPDATE 10/4/11......I just realized that I should not have increased the size of the
                                  living spaces to 1/2 cubic foot. I'll leave it at 1/6 cubic foot.

As said earlier, 99.9% of all the creatures that lived are now extinct. I'll again give
noah the benefit of the doubt and say that 75% are extinct

That means that 3 times as many creatures have lived and became extinct than what we
have today.

On to the calculating;

The species living today times 2 equals(m/f).................2,253,640     (/2=) (25%)
The extinct species equals 3 times 2,253,640 equals....6,760,920     (/2=) (75%)
Total on the ark..........................................................9,014,560     (/2=) (100%)

Okay, lets compare the numbers.

9,014,560 creatures and 9,112,500 (1/6 cubic foot) living spaces. Hmmmm

9,112,500 - 9,014,560 = 97,940 (1/6 cubic foot) living spaces left.
Now lets find the cubic feet left..........97,940/6 = 16,323 cubic feet.
16,323 cubic feet is about the size of a 25 foot square box.

Then we have to figure in noah, his family, food (creatures and human) for, about 1 year.

"Houston, we have a problem"

I know most of these sizes and numbers I have used are funny but I just want you
to start thinking about size, volume and how much can you put into something with
a set volume.

My Thoughts On The Environment

I like to compare the Earth and its Environment to a Fish Bowl and its Environment.
Both are contained Environments, Both Environments are affected by the number of
Life Forms in them and Both  Environments are affected by the amount of pollution in
them.

You may say that the Earth is much bigger and, in being so, allows it to handle the
detrimental effects thrust upon it. Nothing could be farther from the truth. The Earth
can not get rid of the life that is living on it or the damage done to its environment.
The Earth can only hold and/or absorb the detrimental effects.

We are only talking scale.

Here's an experiment;

Put 50 goldfish in a 1 gallon fish bowl. Leave the fish bowl unattended for 1 week.
But, so they don't starve to death, there is an automatic daily feeder for the fish.
After the week is up, check the fish. You'll probably find most, if not all, DEAD.

So...what did they die of, you may ask. It's very obvious once you look at the fish
bowl.........................POLLUTION and OVERCROWDING.

KINDA FUNNY THOUGHT......The fish would have, possibly, lived longer if they
                                             weren't fed on a daily basis because, basically,
                                             pollution was being added on a daily basis.

Now, in comparing the Earth to the fish bowl, you have to scale up. Not only size
but time as well. Basically speaking, what takes 1 week in a fish bowl may take
100 years for the Earth.

Now there's a problem. Since the human life span is, lets say, 80 years. Only the
future generations will have to deal with the problems the humans have caused today.

I'm sure many humans say " If it doesn't affect me now, it's not my problem. ".
( kind of selfish, don'tcha think)

Not My Problem - Not My Job - Not My Fault..........Typical human responses.

You may be thinking that, if "I" have such a problem with whats happening with our
Fish Bowl (Earth) why don't "I" do something about it. "I" will as soon as "I" lift
Mount Everest over "my" head.

"I", as an individual, can not do, hardly, anything.......But maybe "I" can cause humans
to THINK............................Help get the ball rolling, so to speak.

If you really sit and seriously think about the problems of the Earth, the Environment
and the humans, it all boils down to 1 (ONE) thing.................................MONEY!

A question before I close.

My 2 Best Inventions

                                       NeoThruster

One of my inventions, that I designed years ago, is the NeoThruster.I designed it for use
for space travel but it works in Earths atmosphere also.

The simplified description of my NeoThruster is:

Put electricity in get thrust out. But, not like the "IonEngine". The thrust of the NeoThruster
is measured in Pounds.

The direction of thrust can be changed quite rapidly and, if implemented properly, it can
provide thrust in any direction in 3 dimensional space.

I've tried to get in contact with Lockheed - Martin, to no avail, to tell them about my
NeoThruster. I feel it could solve the stability problems the X/F - 35 is having.


                                      Sempiternal Drive

This invention is going to be hard to believe but, it's true. Everyone knows that
Perpetual Motion is impossible. Impossible in that no usable energy can be produced
by it.

Many inventors have claims of tapping power from Gyroscopic Electrons(?), a force
no one knows about yet, etc and etc. They are trying to make the devices to
complicated. Simplicity is the answer. Reality helps also.

My Sempiternal Drive is as close to Perpetual Motion as you can get. But, as with all
machines, it needs energy to run. That energy is all around us. Everyone feels it's effect.
And, possibly killing 1 person daily. That energy is called ................

I feel that I have sucessfully harnessed Gravity.

I have invented the Continually Out Of Balance Wheel and it works.
Many inventors have attempted to build Continually Out Of Balance Wheels but none
worked properly.

To build a workable Continually Out Of Balance Wheel inventors need to know the
secrets. 2 secrets to be exact. And these 2 secrets are what makes it work.

My Sempiternal Drive produces energy in the form of torque. From oz/in to 100's foot
pounds and more. This torque is normally constant but, can depend on the utilization
of the torque.

I don't know who to approach with my Sempiternal Drive. It would definitely solve
our energy crisis. Basically FREE ELECTRICITY.

If Electric companies would utilize the Sempiternal Drive, they would never need to
build a Hydroelectric Dam, a coal burning power plant and absolutely no Nuclear
Power Plants. Also people could build the Sempiternal Drive in there back yard
and supply, 24/7, electrical power to their home.

Also, I did a search on the InterNet to find the cost of a Nuclear Facility and basically
it's about $100,000,000,000.00 (100 Billion dollars).

What I'm about to say is purely speculative but at least I'm figuring the cost of a
Sempiternal Drive facility high.

Figuring that the cost to build a Sempiternal Drive facility at $2,000,000,000.00.
(2 Billion dollars)

This facility would produce the same amount of Power that a Nuclear Plant would.

The Sempiternal Drive facility is 1/50 of the cost of a Nuclear Plant.

So.......50 Sempiternal Drive facilities could be built for the price of 1 Nuclear Plant.

Probably, the thing that makes a Sempiternal Drive facility so cheap is its Simplicity.
Plus, absolutely no RADIATION.

One final note........The Sempiternal Drive would run till the earth was destroyed by
                             some cataclysmic event.

The Reasons I'm An Atheist

First off, I'd like to say that if anyone could give me hard evidence of the existence of
a goD and this evidence could be tested by Scientists and proven to be true then I
would crawl through 100 miles of razor sharp glass just to kiss goDs feet. Simply
put, I am open minded to a certain point. The bIBLE can not be used as hard
evidence because it is a book of stories written 2000+ years ago, by humans that
were very ignorant of the reality around them. Plus, many of the stories were by word
of mouth before being written down. Do you remember the game played in elementary
school? Even today, with our modern technology, the News Story can get messed up.

I've been an Atheist, almost, as far back as I can remember. I never could understand
why goD would create a world like this. A world in which you hope things will get
better as the years go by. But, in reality, things are getting worse at an exponential rate
with a facade of better.

Once in my early 20s, I was able to be in a spot that was isolated (20+ miles to another
person) and I performed an experiment to see if there was a goD. Since I was told by
theists that if I called for goD to appear before me, hE wouldn't because hE doesn't
work that way. Ok...so I'll call someone who is supposedly chomping at the bit to
get souls. I didn't do any rites or rituals, I just spoke normally and did all the necessary
promises and such. But, to my dismay(lol), sataN never showed up. I would think that
an Atheist would be a prime target for sataN. Hmmmm

Conclusion to my experiment.......No sataN - No goD.

I just thought of something that will save me alot of keystrokes.

Almost every Sunday there is a program that streams out of Austin, Texas called "The
Atheist Experience". The host, Matt Dillahunty, is fantastic. To find out all my reasons
for being an Atheist just listen to Matt. When he speaks its like he is using my mind
and his voice. I agree with him 99.9999999999%.

Background Microwave Radiation

Astronomers and the like say that the Background Microwave Radiation, that is present no matter where a Radio Telescope is pointed, is the residue of the light from the "Big Bang" that created our Universe. I'm pretty sure they say that over time (10 - 20 billion of our years) the frequency of the light, from the "Big Bang", has slowed down to the frequencies in the MicroWave band.

Ok......That is both acceptable and unacceptable to me.

Acceptable>  Light traveling for billions of years, I suppose, could slow down in Frequency to
                     the MicroWave band and less. Ok nuff said on that point.

Unacceptable> Astronomers can actually detect this Background Microwave Radiation.

Before I go further I must explain the "Big Bang" the way I see it.

1. Astronomers and the like say the "Big Bang" started from a small area that was smaller
    than the head of a pin. I can not accept that. I'll give the astronomers the benefit of the
    doubt and say the OBJECT was the size of the Earth. I'll call this OBJECT Origin-otbb.

 Note: EVERYTHING, no matter where its at, seeks equilibrium and the Space that
          Origin-otbb is in I'll call, for the lack of a better term, Primordial Space.
         
2. Something, whether internal or external, takes Origin-otbb out of equilibrium and it
    begins to expand. Like a SuperNova, but on a scale that would make a SuperNova
    seem like a gnat fart.

3. Origin-otbb is an object with a concentration of gravity that is almost unimaginable.
    While Origin-otbb is expanding the gravity is still HIGHLY concentrated and will
    not allow light to escape (yet).

 4. Finally Origin-otbb expands to a point that the concentration of gravity has
     lessened enough to allow light to escape. So....I think you can say that the first
     indication of the "Big Bang" is light.

5. At this point we have a central point, Origin-otbb, and light moving OUTWARD in
    ALL directions from the central point.

6. Billions of our years later the "Big Bang" has coalesced into what we see today. But
    the light or residue of the light is still moving outward from the central point. The
    path of light can not be changed unless acted upon by an external force or object.
    Plus, you can't see light that is moving away from you. It must be coming towards
    you to be able to detect it.

One final note; Astronomers, whether Radio or Optical, are viewing celestial objects
                       as they were in the past Not as the celestial object is right now today.
                       Also since we have not seen whats beyond our limited vision (limited
                       by time) the other 90% could be there.

So my question is..........What is the Background Microwave Radiation?

Could it be light residue coming into our Universe from other "Big Bangs" in
Primordial Space?

Measuring The Distance To Very Distant Quazars and the like

I would really like to know how the Astronomers use "Red Shift", in the light spectrum,
to determine the distance to a very distant objects (see title).

The way I understand what the astronomers are doing is:

1. gather the light from a very distant object.
2. Pass the gathered light through a prism
3. Measure how far the red light has shifted. The more it shifts the farther away it is.

If this is where they stop their calculation of distance, to the very distant object , I feel
their calculations are only 1/2 to 3/4 finished.

I'll explain my reasoning and I will use numbers for distance and speed that make the math
much easier. You could use the actual distance and speed numbers and it would make no
real difference but you would need a calculator.

So...the numbers I will use are......10 billion lightyears to the very distant object and it is
moving away from us at 1Mph under the speed of light. Basically the speed of light.

This is how I see it.

1. Light leaves the very distant object 10 billion years ago on its trip to Earth and the
    very distant object is  traveling in the opposite direction at the speed of light.

2. 10 billion years later the light finally reaches Earth but also the very distant object has
    traveled at the speed of light for 10 billion years in the opposite direction.

3. In reality the very distant object is 20 billion light years away from us (right now) but
    Astronomers can't see the very distant object at 20 billion lightyears because the light
    from it hasn't reached us yet. It will though in 10 billion years

This make me wonder if the Universe is expanding, contracting or what. There is a large
gap in what the Astronomers are seeing and what is actually happening out there right
now. Possibly billions of years gap.

The polititians And presidents Debt and Deficit Of The United States

I had to title my post this way even though it really boils down to the Peoples fault for our
debt and deficit. The People have, since WWII, become complacent and self-centered.
As long as the People have a roof over their head, clothes on their back and food in their
stomach they are happy. The People happily vote a person into office then say to
themselves "There!! the loads off my back and onto his" and then the People go back to
their own personal WonderLand.

Our Constitution starts out "We the People" not "We the polititians And presidents"

The People must get involved with whats going on in the politics of our country. I don't
mean afew thousand or afew hundred thousand. I mean Millions of People.

The government is now 14.5 trillion dollars in debt (money the polititians And presidents
have spent that the government didn't have available to spend)

The government now has a deficit of 1.4 trillion dollars (this is money that the government
doesn't have to cover the spending and interest payments). The deficit is 1/10 of the
governments debt (10%).

I think I saw a newspaper that said the deficit will be lowered over a 10 year period (I
could be wrong), but the main thing is the 10 year part. ARE YOU FUCKING
KIDDING ME. Give these polititicians And presidents another 10 years to do what they
haven't been able to do in the past 50 years (I'm 64 and I remember).

With the debt and deficit crisis(?) looming more and more, and if the economy should fall,
the life we would be living would make the Depression seem like a garden party. Then
where would your Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness be.

The People have allowed the politicians And presidents to spend money Helter Skelter.
They have put the People of the United States in a position that is or will be very
detremental to our safety and well being. Which brings to mind, The Declaration of
Independence. Here is a part from it.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they

are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these

are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. That to secure these rights,

governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the

consent of the governed. That whenever any form of government becomes

destructive to these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and

to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles and

organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect

their safety and happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that governments long

established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly

all experience hath shown that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils

are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are

accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably

the same object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is

their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new

guards for their future security.

Life after Death - An Atheists New Point of View

I really like to just think. Let your mind go and let the thoughts flow through your mind.
I also do this to help me go to sleep. It's hard to explain what happens, it's like I release
control of my thinking process and my mind starts going "What if this", "What if this",
"What if this", "What if this", "What if this", "What if this", then maybe a good thought
comes through and I say whoa, lets think about that for awhile. This may sound crazy
but its worked for me all these years.

In no way am I supporting any type of religion. I do not support the idea of a mythical
being. I support the "Big Bang" theory and Evolution. I also like the thought of
Abiogenesis.

One night, a few years back, I was watching a favorite movie and thinking. Then "PoP"
a good thought. "Could I Find The Possibility Of Life After Death" using only Scientific
Laws, Theories and Evidence? In just a few seconds I realized "Yep" I think I can. The
kicker to my hypothesis came to me, I think, months later and it stunned me. No brag
intended. I can not type my whole hypothesis, I'm a 2 finger typist, but I can shrink it
down alot.

First we have to look at the Big Bang. Was there a Big Bang before ours and will there
be more Big Bangs after ours dies(?). Or is this the only Big Bang since some
Astronomers say we are in an ever expanding Universe. My whole hypothesis works
with them all.

I support the hypothesis that this is not the first Big Bang nor will it be the last. With this
in mind Life After Death came easily to me. Since I believe in Multiple Big Bangs, the
Law of Probability comes into play. At this point we have to forget about TIME because
the time needed to complete my hypothesis is almost unimaginable (like Mega-trillions of
our years). Anyway, I think what will happen is that, over a looong period of time,
probability says a whole body or a whole brain or just a certain part of a brain (not sure
which yet, but I'm leaning towards "just a certain part of a brain" ) will  genetically form
the consciousness that you are experiencing today. I realize this concept is very hard to
grasp and I think I'm using Occam's Razor but, hypothetically, it works.

          PLEASE DON'T MISTAKE MY REFERENCE TO A CONSCIOUSNESS AS A SOUL
                                                           BECAUSE IT'S NOT.
                                                      (it's biochemical and genetics )

Ok......now the consciousness is back on line and we come to the bad news.
         
      1. The consciousness will be in another Universe, in another Galaxy, in another solar
          system and on another planet.

      2. The consciousness will not remember past family, friends, pets or the Earth for
          that matter.

and

      3. The consciousness will probably be asking the same damn questions about the
          Universe as we are. ( a little humor)

Now for the good news, though I have no problem with the above, and its the KICKER
I mentioned earlier.

When we die the consciousness ceases to function because the biochemical actions have
stopped. The body, over time, becomes Star Stuff again (thank you Carl Sagan).

Now there is a looong period of time and the consciousness is genetically formed again.

This is the KICKER.......While the consciousness is not active there is no sense of time.
So... the time from death to reformation of  the consciousness would seem instantaneous
(if the consciousness could remember) .

Think of it like this........You are on your death bed, you are closing your eyes for the
final time and you die.

Then! what seems like a nanosecond you open your eyes and you have complete, total
and absolute amnesia and you are a baby or some type of young being.

Basically thats it in a nutshell. My whole hypothesis goes much deeper.
