Quick Get The Camera!

I'm not the start of this problem but, I was there as it was happening. The problem?
It's the ME GENERATIONS. Speaking in general.

I am a "BabyBoomer" and the BabyBoomers started The me Generation, I'm sad to say.

It wasn't so pronounced then as it is today because we still cared about People. Helped
People. Aided People.

In the late 50's and early 60's, on Halloween we NEVER worried about our candy
being poison, our apples didn't have pins and razor blades in them. We wouldn't
hesitate to ask a stranger for water and we weren't afraid to go into their house to
get it. We weren't afraid to WALK home from the movies.

But, after WWII, the times were good. Much better than today. And people were
still pretty close knit.

I watched the BabyBoomer/Me Generation have kids and were permissive parents.
This spoil the kids a little. Then they grew up and had kids and were more permissive
than their parents Etc. This continued to today.

As we went from good to bad we had the YUPPIE, Cluppy,Clappy ,Crappie or
what ever they called them selves. It just went, me, mE, Me, ME.

The ME's, today, show their ME mentality the world over.

The ME's have no conscious, no  Empathy,  they try to get your money anyway
possible, they lie, cheat and steal. And have ABSOLUTELY no remorse. As long
as they get what the WANT.

Now we have children killing children in Schools. In my day if we took a Squirt
Gun to School we could have been suspended for atleast a day. Back then Scool
was for Learning not Playing. Today I guess it's just for Killing.

What the HELL is going on.

For years I have said that when Children get into trouble,crime their punishment should
be more sever than just slapping them on the wrist and sending them home.

Children, from birth to 18yrs old are in their formative years. This is the time that children
learn how to live in society. But, what are they learning? This is what they are learning;
"If I do I might get caught but I'm a Minor Ha Ha what can they do to me" Ask any
kid under 18. They are NOT being taught to be a decent member of society.

Now when there is a shooting, someone hit by a car or have a car accident the yougsters
,of today, grab their CAMERA instead of things to help the situation.

Let me give you an example of how I was raised.

In Dec. 1968, I was 2 weeks from getting an honorable discharge.
Some people had a  party to celebrate everything. I have to admit that in my younger days
I got drunk 1 a week. But a fairly responsible drunk. So....we are having this party and
I think we needed more beer. Everyone was drunk but I seemed to be the Soberest one
so I drove the car. Eventhough, on a 4 lane street I saw 8 lanes. Yea pretty drunk.

I drove as carefully as I could ( No Accident ).

Now here is the seperation of me and the kids today.

While getting beer we came upon a 2 car accident just seconds after it happened.
I stopped and found 4 injured people. 2 from each car. 2 young girls and an elderly
couple. I assesed this situation, calmed the injured people and applied what First Aid
I could. Then kept an eye on all of them till medical help arrived. AND I'M DRUNK
but sobering up FAST.

When I first saw the accident my first thought was.....I GOT TO SEE IF I CAN HELP
not QUICK GET THE CAMERA.

What Is The Matter With People, In General, today?

The 2010 USA census was 308,745,538 people.
The Federal Government Debt IS $14,700,000,000,000.00 ( $14.7 Trillion)

The People are the only ones that can pull the Federal Government out of Debt.

Now, to pull the Federal Government out of Debt in 1 year, every Man,Woman and
child would have to pay ( $14,700,000,000,000.00 divided by 308,745,538 =)
 $47,612.02.The Poor and Destitute would also have to pay.

A family of 4 would have to to pay $190,448.08 EXTRA on their Income Tax

Now thats a Big LOL.

If the Federal Government decided to eradicate the Debt in 10 years.
A family of 4 would have to to pay $19,044.00 EXTRA on their Income Tax

Even Bigger LOL.

But, we have a way out. obama's Jobs Plan. Which will cost $440,000,000,000.00
( $440 Billion ).

Where's this money coming from? Whose is going to get the money?

Big Companies who would squander the money? Then Cry to the Federal Government
that they are going broke. ( Big severance packages, poor money spending, errors, Etc.)
I call this Federal Government Welfare for Big Companies. Which they have been on for
Many years.

The Federal Government should make more money available to Companies whose
annual income is 10 - 20  million dollars or less. Small Companies don't have the
Begging power that a Big Company has.

Think of Companies as fish. You can have 1 Big Fish or many Little Fish.

The Big Fish has 25,000 baby fish depending on it. The sharks swim in and eats the Big
Fish. Now the babies have no protection or support ( layed off )

The Little Fish are in a school of 1,000 Fish and each Little Fish has 25 baby fish. The
sharks swim in and eat 250 Little Fish.  At this point we have lost 250 Little Fish and
6,250 baby fish. BUT, we still have 750 Little Fish and 18,750 baby fish surviving.

There Is Safety In Numbers..........

Yellowstone Super Volcano, CME, Nibiru

In the Title I have listed catastrophies in  the order of possibility, by the way I see it.
Just in case you don't know what CME is, It means Coronal Mass Ejection.

Yellowstone Super Volcano;
This is a good possibility because, Yellowstone has already shown movement in its
Caldara. Plus some of the tourist attractions have changed. Also, knowing the time
of its last eruption, Yellowstone could erupt today or 100,000 years from now or
any time in between...........Greatest Chance of Happening.

CME;
Lets take the Sun and cover it with cannons that stand vertical from the Suns surface.
Each of these cannons can fire a CME, at any time and in any direction. The possibility
of a CME hitting the Earth is pretty slim............Likely Chance of Happening.

Note: after reading about CME's and there effects on Earth, I'm pretty sure I and others
have been through atleast, 1 CME.

Back when I was 8 to 11 years old, I was outdoors looking at the sky. It was winter
and at night. The sky was crystal clear. I Saw the Arora Borealus. You say "So What".
Well, at the time, I was living in Findlay ,Ohio   USA. Way past the point of seeing a
normal Arora Borealus. I feel that, for the Arora Borealus to dip that low, it could have
been due to a CME......And there was no catastrophy. I remember this because it
amazed me that I could see it.

Nibiru;
Oh Boy! here we go. I've searched and searched for info on Nibiru but, all I've found
were weird and conflicting reports. One thing I saw on LiveLeak was a video of Nibiru
beside our sun. Sorry, that appeared to be Just a Sun Dog.

So....without reliable info I have to speculate. Since no one seems to know where its at, I'll
say that it is just crossing Pluto's obit 9/28/11. Now, for Nibiru to reach us by 12/21/12, it
has to travel for 15 more months. 15 months equals approx 455 days. There are 10,920
hours in 455 days. The distance to Pluto is approx. 2.25 BILLION miles from earth

Now the fun part......................
With 10,920 hours in 15 months and Nibiru is 2.25 Billion miles from us we can approx.
calculate the speed of Nibiru

2,250,000,000miles divided by 10,920hours equals 206,044 Mph. Lets see what it is
in Mps. 206,044 divided by 3600 (60 sec * 60 min.) equals 57 Mps. As far as I can
find on the InterNet the fastest object recorded was a comet at 29 Mps.

Very Unlikely To Happen

So people....I'd worry more about Yellowstone or an asteroid  then a CME or Nibiru.

A Funny Thing Happened To Me On My Way Through The Park

I have to share this with you because it happened to me. I have no proof to show
because I didn't have my camera with me and I hope you take my word for it.

The other day, I was walking through a local Park relishing the warm sunlight,
the gentle wind and I guess everything in general. It was a very nice day.

I wasn't really paying attention to any 1 thing, just strolling along. Then I realized
that there didn't seem to be any pressure on the bottoms of my feet. I looked
down and saw that I was about 6 feet off the ground and still rising. Floating
in the air with no form of support. Needless to say, I was scared shitless and
started to thrash around. I found that, during my thrashing, if I start with
my arms extended over my head and move my arms down that I would rise
higher in the air or starting with my arms down and moving them up over my head
that I would go down.

So.....this is what I did ALL day. It was the best experience of my life. Also
this ability seems permanent because I can still do it. Ha Ha fooey on you
Earth bound rats.

I've been trying to get it so that instead of standing vertical and floating through the
air, I can be similar to the fictional character Superman and float horizontal. This
is very hard to do because when I start to go horizontal I seem to start to slip out
of the air. Hard to explain, I'll just have to continue to practice till I can figure it out.

The 1 important thing I did find was that, while floating from the ground upward
and not making any movement, my movement upward would stop at about
100 feet. Coooooool.

I don't really feel anything when I float except that there is no pressure on the
bottoms of my feet. Even with me being an Atheist, this floating stuff is truly
STRANGE. I have no idea why I can FLOAT, I just do.

As yet, I haven't tried to hold an object and float. That will come later when
I'm more experienced at floating.

There it is, I hope you believe me because I'd really feel bad if you didn't.

Even worse, I'd feel terrible if you thought I was any 1 or all of the below;

1....Someone with a brain tumor.
2....Someone that's crazier than a Shit House Rat.
3....Someone that's done WAY to many drugs.
or
4....Someone so stupid that he doesn't know walking from jumping.

 Well sorry........none of those thoughts are correct. The real thought is that
" This fothermucker is Lying ".

AND

That would be CORRECT. Everything, about my floating, is a LIE.

Now to the point of this post.

I gave you readers firsthand information on my ability to float.
I gave you readers firsthand details on my ability to float.

The only problem is that YOU didn't see me float.

Now lets turn to the 2000 year old biblE.

It says that " jesuS Walked Upon The Waters " or something to that effect.

The theists READ this and say "Yessiree lordY, Thats exactly what hE done. "
The theist will believe something that comes out of a 2000 year old book with
no proof or evidence to back it up.

Hmmmm,  maybe hE just knew where the rocks were at.

Yet, when I give theists firsthand information and details, they still require proof.

It's a Sad Sad World we live in.

Here's a little Atheist humor I made up while typing this post.  I don't know if
I'm plagiarising anybody but, here goes;

A man walks into a catholic church and asks the priest if he could address the
congregation. The priest asks, " does it concern religion? " . The man answered
" yes it does " and the priest nodded his consent.

The man enters the pulpit, pauses a few moments, Then says " you all know me,
though not by face, I am you lorD jesuS chrisT ". The whole congregation erupted
into laughter. After a few monents and a very stern look from the man, the congregation
settles down. The man then says " I am here because the day of reckoning has come ".
Again the congregation erupts into laughter. This time the priest is laughing also.

The man asks " why do you laugh at me " and, almost in unison, the congregation
yells " We Don't Believe You ". The man hangs his head for a moment, then looks
up and says " must I give you proof of who I am ? " and again the congregation
yells in unison " YES ". Now the man hangs his head, all the while, shaking it from
side to side. After many long moments, the man looks at the congregation and says
" YOU KNOW I DON"T WORK LIKE THAT "

See Evolution Today

One of the most respected evolutionary biologists has defined biological evolution as

If you have the ability to understand the above, then you will be able to understand what
I'm about to say.

My ear lobe dangles from my ear similar to the Uvula that dangles at the back of your
mouth. Yet, I've seen people with the ear lobe attached to the side of their head and
others that seem to have no ear lobe at all.

Is this small change beneficial, harmful or indifferent?

When I stiffen my thumb up, it looks similar to this....." l ". But when other people do
the same thing, their thumb looks similar to an upside down letter " J ".

This is how Evolution works. Also these are called Genetic Traits ( I'm pretty sure ).
But to me, it's signs of Evolution. There are other things that show me signs of Evolution,
like the tonsils, adnoids and appendix, plus maybe a couple others, that don't appear to
have any use any more. Though I disagree about the tonsils an adnoids. But thats another
story.

Hypothetical Example.......A race of beings that are similar to us and having the same
                                        differences we do. ( Curved thumb vs Straight thumb - Attached
                                        ear lobe vs Detached ear lobe ). I have to say here that there can
                                        be different combinations of thumb and ear lobe but including
                                        that into this example would make it VERY long and
                                        complicated.

                                        So to keep it simple and basically have a similar outcome, I will
                                        say that there are only 2 types of beings. Ones with curved
                                        thumbs and attached ear lobes and the ones with straight
                                        thumbs and detached ear lobes.

                                        The way this race of beings get their food is to slide down,
                                         through, an elastic tube of vines 100 feet tall.

                                        The desent rate is controlled by the hands.

                                         The ones with the curved thumb and attached ear lobe
                                         have very little problem sliding through the tube and controlling
                                         their desent rate because the vines just slide by. Nothing
                                         for the vines to get caught on. Whereas, the ones with the
                                         straight thumb and detached ear lobe have the problems
                                         of getting a thumb caught in the vines and broken and/or
                                         getting an ear lobe caught and tearing the ear off. So...The
                                         desent rate would have to be more controlled thus making
                                         it slower. And as everyone knows..................................
                                         THE EARLY BIRD GETS THE WORM.

You may say that these are just mutations and you would be wrong yet in a way right.
Very basically speaking, evolution is mutation except the mutation is passed on to the
offspring. This is Genetic Mutation.

A mutation, that is not Genetic, will not be passed on to the offspring and I can give an
example.

Years ago, I met a man with 2 thumbs on his right hand. Not 2 whole individual thumbs.
What he had was 2 thumbs, from the tip of the nail back to the first joint, attached side
by side.

None of his family had this condition and it wasn't passed on to his offspring.

A Small Note.....I may have to disagree with Mr. Futuyma when he said that an indvidual
                          organisms can't Evolve. If he means an individual organism can't Evolve
                          a third arm during its liftime, then, Yes I agree.
                         The way I see it, though, is that Evolution depends on the individual
                         organism. Look at it like this; 1 individual organism is born with
                         slightly mutated Genes. It passes those Genes to 2 offspring. Those 2
                         pass those Genes to 4 offspring. Those 4 to 8 and so on. After a time
                         you will have a population with slightly different Genes than the rest of the
                         population. Ta - Da..............................Evolution

Whoa....wait a minute, I just had a thought of some fun, if you like this kind of fun.
You can check this on the InterNet. There are quite a few babies born with TAILS.
Now take this little known fact to a theist or, if you really like to argue, to a Baptist.
I made the mistake of telling an exfriend of mine, who is a Baptist, about babies
born with tails. Holy Shit......He came unglued. I came to a quick understanding.
Watch what you say around a Baptist. Also this arguement is not the reason he's an
exfriend.

In closing, A theist says "Open Your Heart To goD and hE Will Reveal himselF.". An
Atheist says "Go Into The World, Open Your Eyes, Read, Observe and Experiment and
Evolution will come up and smack you right in the face".

Chicken or the Egg

In my life I've heard and been asked the question "What Came First, The Chicken Or
The Egg?". Now, with a question like this, you have only 2 answers and 1 MUST be
wrong.

Definition of  "Faith"....strong or unshakeable belief in something, especially
                                        without proof or evidence.

To answer this question a theist must rely on their Faith and a book written 2000 years
ago and by people that thought the light from the Moon was its own light. Meaning that
It Is Not Reflected Sun Light.

Anyway, the theist answer should be "The Chicken". Because goD created the chicken
then it layed an egg. So did goD, many times. Just alittle Atheist humor.

Continuing on, an Atheists answer would be "The Egg". Because, by being able to think
freely, we can use tangible evidence to draw our conclusion. We have good evidence
that birds evolved from Dinosaurs and the Dinosaurs layed eggs. So.......Egg Before
Chicken. If you doubt this, check out "archeopteryx" on the internet.

Believers and NonBelievers

I know I'm behind the times but, I just saw the Debate(?) between Matt Slick and
Matt Dillahunty. I have to admit that Matt is Slick. I don't know about other people but,
their debate, to me, was weird. Slick appeared to try, exceptionally hard, to win the
debate through confusion and get Dillahunty to admit something. See I'm confused.
But, true to form, Dillahunty slammed Slick at every point.  But Slick seemed unable
to absorb the Logical, Rational and Common Sense questions and answers that
Dillahunty was giving him. I got the impression that Slick only wanted to win the debate,
no matter if he was right or wrong.

Well, to move on. I heard, on The Atheist Experience, that some theist wants all,
proclaimed, Atheists to be registered. Even though it wasn't meant to be, there's some
good in that. The only bad in it is if Reverend Hitler used that list to kill 6,000,000 of us.
Check out German history, about 1939 - end of WWII and don't just read the headlines.

I guess we could use that list also. Anyone not on the list would be our............Hmmmm.
Not a good thing for Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.

I, as an Atheist, would never kill someone just because that person believed in a goD.
But, on the same note, if that persons belief motivated actions threatens me with bodily
harm and/or death, you better believe I'll pop a cap in his ass so fast you won't even
hear the shot.

Anyway back to registering Atheists. If we have to register so do the theists. Only fair.
But, I want to go 1 better. Atheists and theists must carry a coin. The Atheist coin has
a heads on 1 side and tails on the other. We would use this coin to help us with life.
HEADS=YUP - TAILS=NOPE. We call this the Logic coin. The theists will have a
coin they call the Bible coin. It's very simular to the Atheist coin except it has a head
on both sides.

Now here's something that, in a way, makes me sad. I've had conversations with your
common everyday believer and when asked a question like "Do you know what goDs plan
is?". They will invariably say "ONLY goD KNOWS THAT. Welllll DUH! I wasn't asking
them what goD knows I was asking what they know. Are they so insecure in their faith
that they can't say those 3 little words.......I..........DON'T..........KNOW?

An Atheist says those 3 little words quite a bit. Because we don't know everything,
but we are learning something new every day.

Well I've been reading and rereading what I've typed and I think I might have figured
out why theists seem afraid of those 3 little words. If people asked me questions about
Astronomy, Evolution and all the other sciences and ALL I could say was
I..........DON'T...........KNOW, I wouldn't like it either.

Well enough of my ramblings.
